This is the GM for Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War, at your service.​

Finally! The most awaited content, Cutthroat Cove has opened.

In addition to the previous guide published last time, We've got some more details.

It is highly recommended to read the guide in order for you to enjoy the Cutthroat Cove. 

[How to participate in the Cutthroat Cove]

Only Top 100 players in Power ranking of each server can participate in the battle of Cutthroat Cove.

Ranking will be determined in minute before the event start, and a mail with the ticket enclosed will be sent out to Power ranking Top 100 captains on each server. The ticket will be destroyed once the Cutthroat Cove has ended.

You can decide on the screen how much gold you will bring to the Cutthroat Cove right after you enter the event server.

Any action on the event map will not cause any damage to your original game data but gold.

[Cutthroat Cove Rule]

You will be placed on the Cutthroat Cove map with 1,000 battle points given upon entering the event server.

The Final ranking will be determined by the battle point at the end of the event.

Note, The Top 20 battle points earner will be marked on the sea map after one hour passed from the event begins. There is no way to run away from the battle. What do you think of the best strategy to be the last man standing?

Now, Let's talk about the Battle Points

- Earning the Battle Points

1) Stay without peace shield covered in order to earn the Battle Points little by little.

2) Plunder the Battle Points from the loser in the battle when you win the defense or offense battle. 

3) Obtain Battle Points according to the contribution of the battle by the Rally / joint attack.

- Losing the Battle points

1) A significant amount of the Battle points will be deducted when you activate your first peace shield. 

2) Staying with a peace shield covered will take your battle points away continuously.

3) 300 Battle Points(minimum) plus 10% of your total Battle Points will be looted if you lose in the defense or offense battle.(round down to the nearest one)

Changes of the battle points will be shown in the battle report.You can check how many points are earned or deducted in each battle.

Please understand that the battle points shown in the battle reports may be with minimal differences compare to the actual figures due to the decimal point processing.

Once you lose all the Battle Points, you will be excluded from the event and your territory will be shown in the picture below in the sea map.

You can either re-enter the Cutthroat Cove or move back to the original game server after the excluding.

To re-engage to the Cutthroat Cove with 1000 Battle Point again, you can leave the Cove first and re-enter after, or just touch your territory in the Cutthroat Cove map in order to see the option to re-try. Of course, a certain amount of gold will be needed to dive into the cove again!

Some of the items are not allowed in the Cutthroat cove. Please note the item list below!

[Items you cannot use]

- Peace shield

- Items that move your territory

- Items that add golds to your stash.

- VIP and store items

- Random and luxury equipment boxes

FYI, you can still move your territory with gold. 

Of course, Quests, event missions and some other features are restricted as well.

Remaining Golds from what you brought to the Cutthroat Cove will return to your mail box after the season ends. Please note, only the remaining golds will return to you.

Lastly, and Most importantly!

Your territory will still exist on your original server while you are playing in the Cutthroat Cove! You will have two territories to focus.

Always carefull not to be plundered during the event season!
