In this Dev Note, we would like to bring some exciting news regarding a new Cutthroat Cove focused Tactician, and the all-new Plunder Brigade and accompanying Jewelcraft features.

Let’s get right into the details!

■ ‘Plunder Brigade’!

Plunder Brigade is a fleet that protects the EITC Merchant Fleet and Merchant Fleet.

The Plunder Brigade is full of high-tier trade goods and lavish jewels - Pirate goods that are ripe for plunder! So don’t miss this perfect opportunity!

Here are few tips on how to be successful in a Plunder Brigade:

When the Plunder Brigade is out sailing towards a Port City, send out a monster from the Monster Cage to cause havoc and bring the Plunder Brigade voyage to a halt. You will then be able to plunder the Plunder Brigade by using the Expedition Fleet.

You will need to plunder the fleet as quickly as possible, as there are many other Pirates out there also looking for the perfect opportunity to plunder the lavish goods!

You must keep an eye on your Flagship’s Durability while plundering as Plunder Brigade Convoy Ships will fight back once an attack is underway.  

It is said that with more plundering, comes more notoriety.

■ New Captain Equipment Upgrade, Jewelcraft

Jewelcraft, a new way to upgrade your Equipment, will also be added.

Jewel Gemstones can be obtained via successful Plunder Brigade encounters. These Gemstones can then be crafted into usable, buff-imbuing Equipment adornments at the Forge.

‘Intensification’ Stats can be obtained which will increase your stats in proportion to the value of your Equipment when these Jewels are crafted.

The type of Intensification Stats will vary depending on the type of Jewel. The number of stats and respective values will increase as the grade increases.

So, take this new opportunity to strengthen your Captain Equipment!

■ New! Tactician 'Douglas Hunt (Dark Talisman)'’

Meet 'Douglas Hunt (Dark Talisman),' a Tactician specializes in Cutthroat Cove!

'Douglas Hunt (Dark Talisman)' is said to be a Tactician whose skills change and become more powerful when battling in Cutthroat Cove!

With priority and multiple attack skills, he not only has an excellent attack ability, but also carries tremendous survival ability with fast recovery and endurance effects.

In addition, this Tactician can remove buffs and reduce enemy Stamina, making the fight much easier!

We are very excited to see what this new, powerful, priority attack Tactician of the Caribbean is capable of. We can’t wait to see our Captains utilize 'Douglas Hunt (Dark Talisman)' in Cutthroat Cove.

■ Cutthroat Cove Phase 6 Improvements

The location where you Revive will be improved!

Currently, Captains are revived where they fall in battle, having the risk of being immediately exposed to their enemy assailants.  

You will now be revived in a random, safe area within the currently accessible map (excluding the Fog of Death).

In addition, the duration of Phase 6 in each Round will be increased from 5 minutes to 10 minutes. This will provide the chance to turn the tide.

We are excited to see how the tides turn in Cutthroat Cove!

■ Battle Shop Improvements

The Battle Shop list will be changed:
