Greetings, Captains!Countless Captains all over the world have been requesting updates and improvements to what we are about to discuss in this edition of the Dev Notes. Without further ado, we will go over the improvement plans for Tacticians with Counterattack capabilities! ■ Counterattack Skill Improvements Currently, Tactician Skills target from 1 to 5 Ships. This threshold is being taken into consideration as we approach the Tactician Skills as a whole. On the other hand, Counterattack Skills are activated against all attackers without a separate activation or a limit on the number of targets.This gave birth to a prevalent, improvised gameplay meta where Captains would keep as few Pirates as possible aboard their Ships. Though unconventional, it is a common tactic used in some Combat situations. We've been reviewing the feedback, suggestions, and ideas that were shared with us by our Captains worldwide, and we are working to better balance this by adjusting the targets of the Counterattack Skills so that the Skills do not exceed 5 Ships.This adjustment in the number of targets Counterattack Skills can affect may be perceived as a nerf of sorts. So, we are also considering ways to balance this by adjusting the efficacy of the Counterattack Skills specifically. Greetings, Captains.A Server Merge is upon us.Captains on these Servers can expect to welcome aboard those from far off lands, and an exciting new chapter, here in the Caribbean!A total of (28) Servers will be merged after the maintenance later this week. The Target Server list and additional details are provided below. ■ Server Merge ScheduleApril 10th, 2024, the Server Merge will take place during the Maintenance. Access will be available after the maintenance.■ Target Servers- Total of 28 Servers will be merged into 13 new Servers. ■ Reminders1. Territory Relocation- All Territories will be relocated to a random location on the map once the merge has been completed.- Captains in the Servers listed above will receive a 'Premium Territory Move Ticket' via in-game Mail to freely move to desired locations.- A Peace Shield will be automatically applied to all Territories after the Server Merge.2. Port City Conquest- All Port Cities will be reset to “Peaceful State” upon completion of the Server Merge.- Market Price Info will reset, and a Trade Manifest will be provided via in-game Mail.3. Alliance- All Alliance Buildings will be retrieved, and maximum Relocation Points will be provided.- Alliance Names will not change.- The following Alliance-related data will remain the same:: Donated Resources and the respective quantities will be retained in the Alliance Depot: Alliance Research, Skills, and Check-Ins4.
